INBMA is your local non-profit music association working to connect, educate, and support traditional bluegrass, old-time and and Americana music.

Jamming is an essential part of the bluegrass world. Jamming involves playing music with others—often strangers—in an informal group, trading songs and licks, and enjoying this great form of music. Sure, concerts by the greats are important and worth attending. Likewise, YouTube, Spotify, and the like are an important listening and viewing source. But at the core of it all is playing bluegrass music with others in a jam session.

We’re packin’ up the truck and movin’ to Spokane Valleeeee… After searching for a more centrally located venue that is more easily accessible by all of our Idaho and Washington members, the INBMA board has settled on and signed a contract for a new location in Spokane Valley. Beginning November 7, 2026 the monthly gathering will be held at Valleypoint Church, located at 714 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
The new facility has ample parking and spaces for jams, food, and storage for our equipment all at one location. Lower level meeting areas offer space for jamming. A community space will be available for serving refreshments and potluck offerings. The main meeting area provides comfortable seating and performance space for showcase events.

INBMA’s virtual homeplace is undergoing some remodeling in efforts to make information about the organization and local bluegrass events more accessible. Take a look around the redesigned website and stay tuned for new updates. Drop us a line, check out the events calendar, send details about an upcoming performance or jam.
